  This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions.   It doesn't look like much at first, but the venue has actually been a pleasant surprise. Staff seemed a little uncertain, but the room exceeded expectations.   We stayed here for my husbands birthday the staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean the location was so good very close to railway from airport. We were not expecting this hostel to be so good.   Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. - I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.
