  The location for our reason for being in Barcelona was excellent. We were there to attend a football match at the Camp Nou, which was only five tram stops from the hotel. We travelled into the centre of Barcelona by tram and metro this involved a change from tram to metro but all in the journey was about 25 minutes. It was a holiday and every else the price was jacked up but the IBIS wasn't so it was great value for the money. Had 2 rooms and they put us right across from each other which was great.

  This hotel was quite comfortable and clean. Seems quite energy efficient. No danger of leaving the air-conditioning on-it requires the presence of a room key and closed windows to work. Near to the airport and relatively simply to get into Barcelona by train. The proprietor was quite helpful and provided an infant's cot as requested. Our room was small but modern and spotless. The bathroom was nice, very clean and modern. With free wifi and a few chiringitos to eat tapas and grab a beer the stay was great. I would only recommend a room away from the main street as spaniards are loud and stay up late. We were dead tired so we slept no problem.
