  The hotel is family run and although they didn't speak any English my attempts at Spanish were welcomed and they couldn't have done more to welcome us. Hotel is spotlessly clean.   Absolutely everything. The staff is incredibly helpful. We came from the Canary Islands to visit Asturias and we didn't have anything planned. They helped us with everything (from places to visit to places to eat, etc.), without their help we would not have been able to enjoy the trip as much as we did. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation, and/or recommended to anyone who - The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated in a traditional style and well equipped. There was an comfortable lounge area with a log fire. The breakfast was excellent. The location was great with a fast-flowing river just outside and Covadonga a short walk away. It was an ideal base for driving up into the mountains and to the lakes as well as being conveniently near to Cangas de Onís for shops and restaurants.
