The concept of the hotel was unsurpassed. The old palace with modern facilities, the design, everything!!! We're very experienced travellers, and usually stay only in 5starsGL hotels, like 4 seasons, but this hotel absolutely worse forgetting the GL part. The design and harmony ones feels being there makes competitive with any other Gran Luxary hotels. Excellent service (we forgot something at the hotel which was sent to us only a day later with courrier), very friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and design, quiet, very comfortable bed and room with all the necessary accessoires. Beautiful garden adapted to the local environment. A must!.
所有评语 » This really is a special hotel. Beautiful modern renovation of a classic building. Staff who all spoke good English were a delight. Room was large and bathroom spectacular. We loved it. The location of the hotel, staff, and ambience of the hotel as a whole were excellent.Pool and pool area after a day in the hot sun was especially welcome.It was an excellent experience all around. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel itself is beautiful. The great room - 202 - the quiet, the friendly, helpful staff, the lovely breakfast - in short: everything!. The staff were incredibly helpful and very nice people in every respect. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved everything about Palacio del Bailio. Super helpful and friendly staff, amazing spa and everything just oozed of luxury and comfort. The food at the hotel's restaurant was fantastic and a great value and on top of all that they were very child friendly. They even got us a french speaking babysitter in a matter of minutes.Decor, character, design - all very welcoming and mostly luxurious. Very comfortable rooms; especially lovely bathrooms. Spa was wonderful (massage) though roman baths were a bit odd. . Excellant hotel butthethe food in the dining room is bad value for money. The food is v good quality but servings v v small.Beautiful pool area, even though it is a bit small. Wonderful service. Beautiful ambiance. Beautiful room. The hotel is beautiful, the staff great and the food top class albeit alittle expensive. Staff was very hospitable and helpful. Joey was at the front desk everso friendly. The whole atmosphere of the place was luxurious.Once we actually found the hotel we loved it. It is tucked away and difficult to find. Has a great ambiance - very elegant, sophisticated and serene. It is luxurious but in an understated way. Really enjoyed the breakfast.The best during my stay in Spain. Front desk staff were top notch. Extremely professional and went out of their way to be welcoming and to offer advice on enhancing our stay. very beautifully setting and beautfully designed hotel - room very comfortable (particularly quailty of matress / sheets / pillows .. and good interior design). wonderful breakfast with buttery croissants and fresh yogurt...plus the hotel's elegant atmosphere...it's an oasis of calm and comfort. Friendliness of staff. Quiet atmosphere.general quality of service and facilities.Location very good, room excellent, hotel beautifull. its location and the peacefulness of the rooms. Central position. Nice confortable room. Very modern.Very nicely decorated hotel. There was 1 small thing that we found inappropriate - a recommendation of one of the restaurant that was given to us by a receptionist which didn't match even close the level of the guests in this hotel.... I believe that staff should be aware of the level that this kind of hotel custumers are looking for, but it definitely did not affect our overall opinion about the high level of services.Everything was perfect. Pool was smaller than it looks in the pictures but it really didn't matter. Pool area is a bit chaotic - difficult to get seating/loungers. Not necessarily hotel's fault, rather likely to be the guests! Receptions recommendations for restaurants etc were most unhelpful - all suggestions were closed for vacations during our stay. . A holder for the shower spray over the bath so you can haveproper shower. A laptp in the room would be good.The rooms including ours near the street were noisy even with the windows and shutters closed. The window seals seemed to be inadiquate.The price of breakfast was very high if only a small amount was needed. Plates for serving hot food should be hot. I was very disappointed that the pool could not be used during our brief stay. Staff said they attempted to contact guests in advance but this was very disappointing when we had planned to escape the heat by relaxing by the pool. I might have chosen another venue for that reason alone. the tasting menu we had on the Sunday night we arrived was poor (though we probably made a mistake in ordering this - we should have stuck to something simpler given that we were virtually the only people eating that evening). Breakfast was very good though.bathroom a little too stylish for its own good. there's nowhere to put your toiletries case or toothbrush. a shower separate from the tub would have been nice, instead of a bidet. Would have liked an extra comfortable chair in our room. Only one of us could sit in comfort at any one time.more comforts in the room, as for example a small table where you can put the plates with the breakfast. Bathroom lovely, but basins too small and no vanities for storage. The bar area was not very welcoming and we were not impressed with the food. Took us three hours to find the hotel and we had a GPS. It is not well marked or known. Room was inconviently located and a little noisy as window to alley was not soundproof. Considering, that we booked the hotel 6 months before, I think we should have gotten a room in the main building. Lunch was very so so for the price. Breakfast, every spoonful of jelly was on a seperate spoon, not very green. Service was somtimes slow but perhaps linked to the period of the year.
