Fabulous central location for sightseeing and strolling to tapas bars and restaurants (there's a wonderful tapas bar just a minute away). If driving you can easily find the hotel thanks to the city's signposts and, even though it's in a pedestrian area, you can drive to it, check in and unload before taking your car to the underground car park just round the corner. Stylish reception area with efficient and friendly staff who speak perfect English if needed.
所有评语 » this hotel was located right in the old city and allowed for easy exploring of the area. it was right on the Camino and that brought many pilgrims into the hotel. the lobby had a very comfortable lounge area where guests c sit and read. it was very cold in the city while we were there and the hotel was flexible about keeping our bags and letting us remain in the lobby for a few hours while we waited to catch out transport to the next place we were going. Great central location for sight seeing , old world charm and close to some very nice restaurants just around the corner.Hotel is well signposted but you do have to access a no drive area by driving on the footpath and then navigating some boulards, just mention the hotels name at the machine and the boulards will go down to let you in . There is a carpark close by and the Hotel gives you a discount, think it was about 10 %. This was a very welcome stop for us , we were hiking the Camino de Santiago. Having walked 28 km we were thrilled to find the hotel right in town , only a short hobble to the wonderful Cathedral. The next morning we woke to chanting, when we looked out of the window it seemed the whole town was walking past us singing and responding to the priest. It was an amazing experience! Burgos is a lovely city. The location was perfect. Very central. I was walking the Camino and it was right on the route and central to all the things I wanted to visit in Burgos. Room was clean with a great bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money. The location was ideal, right in the heart of town with agreat choice of nearby restaurants, shops and tapas bars and a few minutes from the exquisite cathedral. Close to all features of this wonderful city on the 'pilgrim route,' the size of the rooms, the value and the friendly, helpful staff made my stay a great one. I have enjoyed my time spent in this hotel totally, the people super nice, helpful, high quality in everything. Pet friendly was very important for us. Excellent place...2nd time I have stayed here. Wonderful location...3 mins to the Cathedral and anything you need in Burgos. Lovely rooms,good value. Difficult to find via pedestrianised and security controlled access. Inconvenient parking arrangements, requiring driving to offsite parking facility ( 13 euros ) or finding street parking. Nothing. The breakfast lacked a bit of imagination but generous.7'. Breakfasts a bit boring. Had we been younger we might well have gone out and looked for better. Nothing. Nothing really. As good as the hotel, was room 105 needs a new shower head. You nwould have thought that housekeeping would have notices it. Apart from that, no complaints. A bit noisy on the street at night. The late night party noise until the sun came up. Nothing. Creaky wooden floors,noise from adjoining room. The noise! The floorboards creak a lot and you can hear people moving about on the floor above, so if you want peace and quiet book elsewhere!. Liked everything except squeaky hall floor as you went into the room. No Bar!. Not air conditioning system. It is needed during summer time. little bit expensive. Nothing. Nothing. Noise from other rooms, poor insulation. Breakfast was poor and expensive, orange juice the worst I have ever tasted . Despite a 10 percent discount the parking is still expensive. dont bother with the breakfast. very noisey with pilgrim cyclist and a very loud guide. Staff not very friendly. Lot of noise but we think there was a demonstration going on so maybe not the hotel's fault. It's advertised as an old palace, but this doesn't mean that we should keep the palace as it was 100 years ago. Absolutely no sound insulation, we could hear a dog barking from the other side of the floor. Also, the room was smelling of cigarette smoke. When we told this to the receptionist his reply was that they do not control what the guests are doing (understood but please air the room before giving it to us and get rid of the ashtrays in the rooms). No ventilation in the bathroom. Its breakfast is awful. The staff are moderately helpful. If they don't have the answer to a question they do not go that extra mile to help -- just say that they don't know.
