Great location, not a very touristy area but still central which was perfect. Our room was lovely and the owners were wonderful, showing us where the best places to eat and go in the local area, great for when we first arrived and didn't want to travel too far out. Our double room was pretty spacious and the en-suite was a bonus, especially as a lot of hostales and reasonably priced accommodations so close to town have shared bathrooms. 所有评语 » The hostal was comfortable, warm and very individual. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us some good advice about the area. The kitchen proved very useful for us and we enjoyed the cat who lives in the outer lobby. The place is small and welcoming. The location was really good - a quiet, interesting residential area within easy walking distance of Cathederal and La Rambla. Tiny bar next door sells an amazing range of artisinal beers including some interewsting English ones. But no noi. Location was excellent. Lovely owners. We stayed in Arthostel II with the owners and they really looked after us and our young children (1 yr and 5 yrs). We felt safe here. The neighbourhood is cultural with lots of small shops, cafes and parks around, and only a short stroll to La Rambla or the beach. The house was interesting, cultural and artistic. We were quite impressed and would stay here again!. Exhibition at the entrance, Décoration of the room, situation... Location. 5 min to metro. Close to cheap shops with bakery and fruits. And lots of nice restaurants in 300 meters around. It was very near to the center.Its price was cheaper than the hotel's prices in barcelona. Weakest point would be the showers. One in larger upstairs room was just OK but shower in smaller upstairs room was pretty poor. The bed was hard on our backs and we had to make sure children didn't make too much noise in the mornings so as not to wake the owners but the price and location made it worthwhile. We loved our stay here and loved Barcelona. Bed quality and, really long waiting at the arrival... Everything else. It was terribly wet and noisy there. Tons of insects. Not enough plates and cups. Constant problems with WiFi, power turned off 2 times, and even toilet had broken on the 3rd day. And householder tried to blame me for that! Wanted money or smth? Anyways I can't recommend this hostel. Awful. the room was enough small and the quality of services was really bad.Finally the bathroom had enough space just to be one person in it.
