  The room was clean, huge and the staff was very attentive. Room service was great, in terms of prices and food selection. It was a very quiet hotel, too, except for the fireworks show outside at midnight..........but it had nothing to do with the hotel! :) - very large room, great bathroom and amenities, exceded expectations

  All we had to do was call the hotel from the airport and they gave clear directions where to catch the shuttle to the hotel. The shuttle runs every hour on the hour. The room we stayed in was a bit small but large enough for two to enjoy comfortably. We appreciated having a king size bed that was fairly comfortable.   Very helpful and attentive staff. Rooms are amazing, so modern! Very quiet, beds are super comfortable. Shuttle to airport took less than 10 minutes, very convenient. Only 10 mins to the city. - Although outside of the centre the location is perfect for both business and leisure thanks to the near metro. Facilities are great and rooms are spaceful.

  A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time. We stayed there our 1st night in Madrid and booked it again for our last 2 nights in Madrid. Our son stayed our late one night and it's about a 20 euro taxi ride from downtown Madrid to the hotel.

  Last summer I stayed for the first time at Axor Barajas both for business (The University of Arizona, USA) and pleasure (Family European vacation) I can't say enough of the quality for the price.....it is a bargain. We used it from the airport after dropping off our rental car and then the next morning back to the airport for our flight.
