I really enjoyed the comfort and privacy and personal space. It was a comforting environment with friendly accommodating staff who made you feel welcome at all times. Always there to provide service in any ways. I really enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend it to anyone travelling.
The hospitality and warmth of the staff was simply wonderful. The guesthouse and neighborhood itself are perhaps one of the quietest environments I have ever been in. The room I stayed in was the finest I have ever stayed in in South Africa.所有 评语 »
george ,the gentleman running the place and looking after it was incredible.nothing was too much for him to do.position is brilliant in jhb.room was nice.garden well kept.parking ,secure and convenient. The staff were extremely helpfull and will to assist in anyway. I was shown all the facilities before they escourted me to my room in spite of arriving late in the evening. .
Good location, close to Hyde Park mall. George, the guy who runs the place, is very helpful. Very nice room, clean and spacious. Good breakfast.

Absolutely nothing...
the pool was green and too too dirty to swim in,which is unacceptible for the height of summer.the washing lines that were in the garden and full of washing is horrible to look at . The towels are extremely hard and the shower leaked over the bath edge leaving the floor soaked. This happens as soon as you stand in the shower to wash your hair and the water falls back toward the tap.
When I arrived at 7pm, I waited for 15-20min to check-in, because there was no-one to be found.
The guest house is a little tired and needs some upgrading/maintenance.
The kitchen was not kept cleaned at night; reception does not work during the night; For two times i found the key of my room on the desk of the reception upon return to the Guest Room at night (any other guests could had access to my room).
Breakfast was sufficient, but the quality of the products could be better.
Taxi prices are quite steep in Johannesburg. Even the pick up organised by the hotel is quite expensive.

Room stank of smoke. The finishing where dirty. The decor and front desk need tidying. Breakfast was adequate but leaves a lot of room for improvement.
I would have thought as a suite lodger there would be a fridge, however there was nothing in that regard.

Threadbare carpet, unclean bathroom, unchanged (!) bed sheets.
our room was double booked, no one of the staff advised us before arrival or made any plans, this was very unprofessional, on arrival no friendly welcome or urgency. it was just a quick get away. the rooms are very close to eah other and you can hear the next door person.
