I wasn't able to get the room I'd chosen (not really the fault of the hotel, but of the letsbookhotel.com website interface, and the hotel was really apologetic). Rooms were spacious and very clean, with a modern design and finishes. Towels were soft and amenities were lovely. Wifi in the room was much needed. Private verandah was a wonderful feature too. Breakfast was very tasty and a great spread, with many choices.

Exceeded my expectations!. Luxury feel of accommodation, pool, space, elegance and sophistication, location was good for access to restaurants and shopping,lots to do, great views of table mountain. Everything was superb, from room with plunge pool, spa bathroom, to staff, to gourmet breakfast. A fantastic boutique hotel in Gardn district. The breakfast offerings were also really good! Staff were friendly. The room was very clean. The towels and bedding were new and modern. Overall, I liked the place. Cute and quaint!. The room was gorgeous, natural just like home. The bed very comfortable. The food was good, th location was excellent. Almost everything was up to expectations. The staff and the breakfast. Staff very friendlly. Everything was great. Rooms are spacious. Two rooms with small private pool with modern styling, really nice. These were situated in a newer area of the guesthouse. Clean. Location and size of room. My room (Aqua room), while pleasant and very comfortable, was not really 4-star standard. More like good 3-star. Used bar of soap in basin (yuk), tatty ceiling cornices, dirt in bases around legs of bed, no milk with coffee, very loud aircon, no Internet in room (this was one of the filters I used on the letsbookhotel.com site, and it was promised in their blurb). No wifi in breakfast area. Parking was on the road front. There is no off-street secure parking available if you have a car. The television reception is not great on all channels and the remotes needed new batteries. Very minor things compared to an overall great experience. Room maintenance showed,that we had booked at the end of the season, i.e. some lights not working, pool temperamental, remote controls required new batteries, nothing that individually needed reporting but as the stay progressed became irritating. Nothing. It was perfection!. rooms near the breakfast area can be noisy if you are a light sleeper or like to lay in late. The battle for parking due to the narrow roads but was happy to see the car guards around and they also made sure that I never left anything of value in the car. It was hard to find. The first taxi driver couldn't even find it. The toilet sink. That should be changed in accordance with recent technology. The staff could have been more helpful and knowledgeable about Cape Town. The shower!!! The hot water system is dysfunctional, hot water takes to long to come through and pressure adn flow to low. Finishes in bathroom are a bit tired and can do with renovation. We would not recommend the location for a holiday stay. Basic rooms were old. Old bathroom. Internet really slow. Breakfast was average. Big difference between older and newer rooms. Poor wi-fi reception No desk and chair to work on.
