The B&B style house meant that we could use their full kitchen (with every utensil & servingware & appliance that our home has) to prepare a bbq dinner and breakfast the next morning. There are bikes & scooters to borrow, so we went on a family ride to the nearby lake. The taverna/lounge downstairs has music, a guitar, comfy chairs, etc. for peaceful relaxing. The creek with tiny waterfall in the backyard was lovely and fun for our kids to watch. They had games to play with - fo.
所有评语 » The Millhouse is a beautifully renovated 300 year old flour mill. It's in an excellent location in a tiny village close to Bled. Paul and Dorthe are exceptional hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the lovely peaceful garden, which has a small waterfall and river running through it. The huge kitchen/diner is very well equipped should you wish to make your own meals and the whole property is immaculately clean throughout. The Millhouse is . We consider ourselves very lucky to have stayed at the "Millhouse". The property is clean, spacious and modern with plentiful parking. An excellent breakfast is available or you can provide your own. A large kitchen and living area is available for all guests. The house also has wonderful gardens. But the most outstanding feature are the owners/hosts who go out of their way to make you welcome and give lots of advice on where to go and some excellent places to eat. Would not hesitate to recomme. Paul and Dorthe have put their heart and soul into making The Millhouse their dream. They provide an excellent level of service and are always available to provide directions, hiking trails, and restaurant suggestions. They also offer car rides and bikes. The Millhouse is in a smaller village outside Bled, which gives it a less touristy feel while still being close to all of the sights. Our room was new, clean, and comfortable. The Millhouse has been carefully restored so that it has old world . Paul and Dorthe were fabulous hosts. Ready to help with all aspects of our vacation planning. We thought we knew what we wanted to do but once we heard from them about the insider tips to enjoying the area our trip took a complete turn and we are so happy we followed their advice. We appreciated their emails before we arrived with very important travel and arrival information. They quickly responded to emails. The set up was great for the kids. They were able to feel at home and run around, fin. Paul & Dorithe were most welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as Paul picked us up from the bus. Nothing was too much trouble whether it be information or practical help. Our room was modern and comfy with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the kitchen facilities were fantastic for cooking your own meals.The Millhouse has a great ambience and I would highly recommend it. A lovely couple and I would love to return. This is the first time that I feel like writing a review because I enjoyed my stay very much and I think the owners deserved credits for it! The owners were extremely friendly and nice to us. They spent almost 1hr to help us set up the fire for our BBQ. Millhouse bled felt like my dream house, incredibly clean and tidy. Highly recommended this hostel to whoever visiting Bled. Its a perfect place for your time in Slovenia - from there you can get any place easily or you can simply decide to stay and enjoy the surroundings, take a walk or bike ride to the beautiful lake of Bled and Sava Bohinjka river. You can also just rest in the beautiful backyard. Whatever your choice is, Paul and Dorthe will make it even more enjoyable. This was a short stop for us on the way home from Venice. I wish we could have stayed longer. The area is beautiful and the accommodations were perfect! Dora and Paul were wonderful hosts and their guest house is immaculate. We travelled as a group of3 generations and The Millhouse catered for us all. Breakfast was great too. But once again the hosts friendliness was a highlight. We all friends really enjoyed the stay. The location of the Millhouse is perfect for seeing the Bled area and the immediate outskirts and the house is well equipped with the comforts you need to feel at home. Great and close by a winery road, 5 minutes driving from Maribor city center. the room we had was very good. The children area outside is nice. The location was quiet and the millstream behind the building was unique. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There was free wifi. The walls were a bit thin - lots of noise before the whole hotel went to sleep. There were no toiletries in the bathroom and we'd forgotten to bring soap & shampoo. It's about 2 miles from Bled proper, so not quite walking distance for a hot summer day. Nothing!. Northing...everything was perfect!. Nothing. We would stay here again. Nothing. Village goes to sleep about 9pm so you need to walk to Bled if you want a meal or drink. nothing. Liked everything. none. Breakfast was an added expense. There were no water glasses in the room. Nothing. nothing. location hopeless for mature couples. without a motor vehicle access to Lake Bled near impossible. Difficult to find.
