  Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained. Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review normal room but suite was excellent.   Nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best loacation, everything you need (sights, shops, cafes, railroad and bus stations etc) is near or takes not more than 10-15 min walk. Good word for water in hotel: water is ok, no smell, though when you turn tap, you should wait about 15 sec to get hot water out of it. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg.
