  For a start I really enjoyed the drive from Bucharest to Slanic, very easy, short and pleasant going through traditional villages. We liked the details in the interior (wooden flooring, authentic ceramic fireplaces and so on). We stayed in September and in Sinaia was cold. Thankfully the heating system was working. There is a good Hungarian re - This '20s villa is beautifully redone, making sure you have all the comfort of a new accommodation while enjoying some old-school architecture. Owner is friendly and helpful. If you get a room with a view, your mornings will be much happier, seeing the mountains from your bed. Location is good - not central - but easy to reach: about a 10min walk to the main street in Sinaia. Plus, the area is really quiet so you can relax and get a good sleep.
