We have stayed there over the weekend and by far it was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Romania, if not the best. The pool and the spa were amazing, the staff was great, the breakfast was very good and various, the room was clean and the bed was so confy I could not get up! Overall, everything was great and I would definitely go back there. There is not much to do in Oradea, but if you are looking for a good place to eat, there is a really good Italian restaurant within 15 min walk, .
所有评语 » One of the best hotel I've had accommodation on my vacation. Rooms were clean, well equipped with new and modern furniture, with silent air condition and view to Cris river. The internet connection was very good as speed and signal. The breakfast was very good and finally we were delighted to stay in this hotel.It was a very good choice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is coming to Romania or is leaving the Romania. We booked the rooms one month ahead and we've got a real good price. It was the first hotel for our trip and it did not disappoint. The rooms are clean and new, the bathroom is shiny clean, everything works as expected. If you are traveling by car, you also get to use their free private parking, which was a great bonus for us. The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I had a severe cold and they did not mind providing me with sufficient drinking water and lemon. At their current rates this is the best value you can get for your money (in Oradea) for sure. It was the best hotel we ever had at that price. We liked everything, especially low price but also beautiful exterior and interior design; location by a river off city center in quiet, green area by sport complex; extremely friendly, helpful and smiling staff at reception, bar and breakfast; very good choice of fresh and tasty food at buffet breakfast; indoor swimming pool (and sauna) open till 11 pm; bar open till 1 am (very good mojito there); nice view from balcony; very comfortable beds. We have been travelling throughout Europe for 5 months and this is the best hotel that we have stayed in. Value for money was excellent. All of the staff were great, they made us feel like they were genuinely interested in making our stay special. Breakfast was 1st class. Swimming pool, spa and sauna were superb. I had a fantastic massage in the wellness centre. Congratulations DT Hotel Oredae for putting service back into hospitality. Keep up the great work. Location was superb, near the river and minutes away from city center; we got a 7h floor room with a great view over the city. Staff was extremely kind, checked-us in at 10 AM, several hours before official check-in, always smiling and making sure we have everything we need. Room was lovely, spacious, modern, clean. Everything you wish DoubleTree has it (including a very nice underground parking). Great stuff, not cheap, but really great!. Our second visit to this hotel was even better than the first one. This time we decided to try out the SPA area and it was a pleasant surprise: a big swimming pool with heated water, an amazing Jacuzzi with powerful jets of hot water, a steam room and a sauna. We were thinking to stay for an extra day just for the SPA. Breakfast great, rooms are great, Internet is great... This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is new with a nice interior designs the rooms are very comfortable and with a nice view on the river.....we have tried even the restaurant inside and I have to say that from what i've eaten it was pretty cool...the spa area is very relaxing and very well done even spatious ....in any place you go you can listen at some soft or chill out and jazz music so this hotel don't miss any detail at all. I don't see how anyone can complain about this hotel. For the price it is the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying. The pool is amazing. Everything is clean and new. Glass elevator to look over the river and city. Balcony. Superb bed. Nice shower. Walking distance to the main street and next to a nice park. And on and on. Just stay here. It is rely great place for holiday. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in is very fast, they had everything ready and They waited for us. Hotel have big swimming pool, well equipped fitness center and served superb breakfast. Access to the indoor swimming pool included in the price of the room. Rooms equipped with all needed equipment. Clean rooms, wellness facility (the pool has a perfect temperature 30 degrees). Amazing beds, bedding. Wide variety at breakfast. Only 1 hour autoride to Padis natural park (Cetatea Ponorului). absolutely fantastic!!! superb SPA, great room with nice view and very comfortable bed :D be there for sure next time travelling through Romania (they gave us additional bed for child without asking). It was an absolute pleasure staying at the Hilton Oradea. The facilities were incredible as well as the staff. I travel a lot and from now will only choose a Hilton hotel. It would be nice to have chairs and a little table on room balcony; in 5-star hotel they should have underground and/or valet parking, I think. Everything is perfect. Just one negative note ....the day before our departure we asked to extend our staying for one day or more (we had booked 2 different king de luxe rooms) and they replied to us that they couldn't charge the rooms at the same price we paid....that's why we left and what was very unpleasant on the same day we left on bokking there was even a better offer of what we paid for those rooms...this was the only thing that disappointed us. There was a huge party at the swimming pool next door until 05.00.(Who would have thought of a party at a swimming pool?) I think it was bad luck and just a once a year event but it kept me up a bit. Even through the soundproofed windows I could hear it and feel the bass. But I am much more sensitive than the average person. I still recommend the hotel completely. nothing. Dinner is expensive, and not much to choose from. Would be nice more simplier and cheaper food range. Hilton Great for stopover... Oradea, maybe I'm wrong but driving through did not encourage me to go exploring the city. We did take a walk up the road to a restaurant opposite the Hotel Continental with a view to eating in the Royal Steak House opposite but there was a party at the Royal so we went to the Piccolo Restaurant just a little further up the street, Please do not make the same mistake... Prices in restaurant were a little on the high side. but food was very good. Nothing. Just a little bit too far outside of the city center. Taxi's are super cheap but it takes 15 minutes to get anywhere. the day we had to leave :). The ironing service was awful. I sent a shirt that was full of creases after the journey and it came back far worse. It was also quite expensive. The only thing was we wouldn't like to be on the 1st floor again as could hear music from restaurant and people on their phones on the balcony of restaurant. Nothing. In one morning we wanted to serve the breakfast on the terrace facing the river being a lovely day outside. When we asked the waiter if possible, he offered an excused and did not prepared a table for us, which would be expected for a 5* hotel? :) Everything else was brilliant!. Nothing to dislike... Great Hotel... Great staff... Wi-fi was not so easy available ,but was internet wire in rooms. ...found out via email the day before we arrived that the pet-friendly room would cost an additional $55, nearly doubling the cost of the room. Thought it would be more in line with the $15 paid in most places so was quite surprised and not feeling like I got a good deal afterall. All good. We called the reception to ask if we are permitted to drink our own champagne bottle at the pool. The answer was Yes. Down at the pool, we were told Not to open the bottle as customers' alcohol was strictly forbidden; Later on, a guy came and warned us Not to smoke at the pool (We've never smoked in our lives); The stuff was unorganized in standards and procedures. At the bar in the lobby we ordered 2 fresh oranje juices, that we later realized were half o.j. and half water (the oranje went in the upper half of the glass). You dont really expect this from a five-star rated hotel. the reception of pool didin't have to buy costumes. Not the cheapest hotel, but you are paying for quality.
