The receptionist were extremely helpfull as was my 1st visit to Poland,and arranged for the tours i wanted and also took time to give me directions.The appartment was cleaned daily ,and all the staff were very kind and helpfull. 5Mins from the main square, the staff were excellent and extremelyfriendly, the room was spotless and well maintained. I would highlyrecommend Abella Guest Rooms to anyone wanting to stay in Krakow.

The space and freedom of an appartment with the support / advice ofhotel staff whenever needed. Good position within 10 min walk tocentral square. Friendliness of staff, plenty of warm water, very clean rooms, rooms very warm, central location. Excellent communication from hotel. The staff were helpful and willing to help in any way.The apartment was spacious and clean and more than met our expectations. Location and size and elegance of room. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Option of private car for airport pickup. Friendly and helpful staff, communications in english, closeness to town centre, local shopping availability.The Appartment was clean, modern and central.What more could ask for?. Location. Ten minutes walk to the old main square or you can catch the tram to the end of the road.Reception staff were very friendly and willing to sort out taxis, etc. The apartment was large and had recently been refitted.Close to central square. The use of a kettle with daily provisions of tea and coffee and the fridge in the corridor was a superb idea but could have been advertised in advance.Friendly, helpfull staff. Close proximity to the old town. Tea and coffee in the room. Good position.10 min walk to main square,15 mins to train/bus station.Useful kitchen facilities, well equipped and furnished rooms. Front bedroom suffered a little from traffic noise (particularly trams). A minor point I would have liked 2 towels but this would not stop me from recommending the guest house to anyone going to Krakow. Some building noise nearby started early morning. Early morning noise due to renovations on a neighbouring building, hotel owners very apologetic about this and did what they could to get the building works to start later in the day, ultimately out of their hands though. No satelitte tv so there was no access to the news like BBC or CNN, however; the owner said they had an application in for a satelite dish and so should have this service in the very near future.Only down side was we had a front facing roomwhich was great but at 5.30am we heard the trams going up and down the street which was very noisy. a lack of a lounge area and perhaps not the most picturesque street in Krakow but once inside the room these small reservations were more than made up.Some noise from the street (trams etc.). a bit noisy becose of the bathroom equipments, but its acceptible. annoying train noises. No english channel on TV. Trams could be a bit noisy if you had window opened.The only thing I did not like was the fact it was on a busy road and the noise from the traffic was slightly disturbing. rooms to the front are noisy as there are trams passing directly outside the windows. This can be a problem early mornings and it is worth noting when asked by the hotel at the time of booking to try and avoid the front. there was no 24 hour reception. Having trams going past regularly. It was a noisy room because of this.Only thing. it would be nice to have a world news(CNN/SKY/BBC) avialable on tv. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy, so I would recommend to ask for a room facing the courtyard. They failed to clean the room after first night. This was based oon a misunderstanding but they might have tried a bit harder. Unfortunately somebody broke in to our room whilst we were asleep onthe Saturday night and stole credit cards, money, my camera anddriving licence.The proximity of the tram line. Each time a tram passed you could not only hear the noise(despite the double glazed windows) but also feel the vibration. It would have been more convenient for each guest to have his or her own key as there was an exterior door to unlock as well as the bedroom. For anyone returning to the hotel early on their own, this was OK but not for anyone returning later. Room description stated there was a balcony. This was tiny, only room for one person to stand on, so we felt this was a bit misleading.
