  I cannot recommend the Artus enough. The Location is directly in the old town center, just off the Long Market, around the corner from the Fontanna Neptuna, next to a police station and an easy 10-12 minute walk from the Gdansk Glowny rail station. The building was very old and beautiful, while the interior was very new, modern and clean. Mon Balzac is - The top place to stay in Gdansk! Location could not be better. Downstairs at the corner brilliant taxi services (Taxi Baltic). Very helpful staff in hotel reception and restaurant. Room service breakfast absolutely luxury with fresh strawberries, good coffee or cappucino, cheeses and - everything! I also had a massage and a sauna and experienced that as Finn I can say: You good not have anything better!

  Fantastic location in the old town. Great apartment, very modern, comfortable and spotless. Beautiful view of the Cathedral from our window. Krzysia, the owner was extremely helpful even arranging a taxi to collect us from the airport 60zl (€15).Fabulous restaurants nearby.Two of our favourites were Gdanski Bowke and Goldwasser.   We had a business room which was massive in size and ideal for a running toddler (18 mths) with plenty of space without getting on top of our bags etc. They provided a travel cot which we requested and this was in great condition and worked well.   My husband and I stayed for 4 nights, where 2 of those nights 1 family member stayed with us. From booking the responses were very quick and helpful. We met the representative at the apartment which was very easy to find (on the 3rd floor). Then the Kitchen/Diner/Lounge was a really good size and with 3 of us - A wonderful apartment. Great location for the old town. Really good value. Agnieszka is a great host I can't praise her willingness to help and make the most of your stay, enough. I have traveled all over Europe and stayed in many apartments and hotels and this is one of the best. You will not get better value.
