On arrival the staff at reception were very attentive, professional and were even nice enough to give me a room with balcony. Although the room was small & cosy but it was very well prepared and clean. Bed was very comfortable, and it was really nice to have had a few sunny days so we can make use of the balcony. The toilet was clean and all amenities worked. Though its in the centre of Oslo, the hotel is very quite and getting a good night sleep here will not be a problem due to noise anyw.
所有评语 » - Location: Very central and convenient. Most of the sights are located within a 15 minute radius. Walking to the central station also takes 15 minutes. Bus and tram stops 1 minute away. Metro is 5 minutes walk. Breakfast: Superb cooked breakfast! Oslo is one of the cities where you need to have breakfast included as food is ridiculously expensive. Staff kindly opened the breakfast 20 minutes earlier so we could get some breakfast before we catch an early train to Bergen. Comfort: Really nice r. This basic hotel is a ten minute walk from the central train station (about 6 or 8 big blocks), and in a good location near the main sights, fortress was closest. We bought a 24 hour travelcard which was a deal, and meant we could jump on and off the many buses, ferries and trains. The hotel room was clean, and equipped as per a budget hotel (iron, hair dryer, safe, toiletries, cable tv, kettle). The inclusive buffet breakfast was superb. Free wifi. Daily room cleaning. Great value for money. Great location! Nice area, quiet for relaxing and sleeping in the room but the hotel is just 2-3 short blocks from main street areas for shopping, dining & entertainment. Also, only a short distance to the train station - an easy walk with baggage for transfers to the airport or out of town excursions. Great food nearby. Everyone speaks English - and very well. Norwegians are friendly and helpful. Those employed in the tourist industry understand the meaning of hospitality. We were offered a double room with balcony on the top floor which the view was excellent. The space of the room was adequate enough and comfortable, it had a small coffee table and large work desk. The toilet was clean & big. The breakfast was declicious especially the mushroom & had a great variety of choice. The location is perfect just 2 mins. from the metro station. We loved this hotel very much. Quiet , central location, near to trams and bus stops and adjacent to theses routes. Breakfast good with a good range on offer for both hot and cold meals. Meals available both from hotel order-in service and local eateries. Secure card reader sytem for lifts/elevators and room access. sceure card reader also operated the roonm lights saving energy when room not in use. TV in room and en-suite shower. The room was perfect--nice, cheerful, Scandinavian design, with a perfect contemporary bath. I asked for a room on the "garden" (interior courtyard), so that it would be quiet and I wanted one in which the sunlight would not be coming in (it was hot that day). And they accommodated both requests. I would have preferred a location a bit closer to the train station, but it was walkable. Location was superb - a 10 min walk from Oslo S and about the same to the waterfront area, and trams, buses and metro all nearby. Good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, lovely large shower, and the breakfasts (included in the room rate) were excellent - filled me up for busy days sightseeing so I didn't have to buy lunches in a very expensive country. The room was comfortable and nice to come back to after long days touring rainy Oslo. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpfu! We asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what they gave us (Room 316). We slept like babies! Vegetarian selections on the breakfast menu were ok. Lots of fresh fruit, which was really appreciated!. We only had a one night stay at the lovely hotel. Breakfast was very good, the staff was helpful and they stored our bags all day until our departure for the airport. The room had a balcony with a good street view. It was an excellent location for sights downtown and was walkable to the train station. Friendly courteous staff - very clean and comfortable adequate for short stay - very near all the attractions of Oslo - quite area which bars/restaurants nearby - breakfast excellent well laid out and choice - within 10 min walking distance with baggage from Oslo Station.Would highly recomment. The hotel was located about a 10 minute walk from the main station. Transportation was easily accessed. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. The rooms were bright and clean, the breakfast was excellent and we had a very quiet room. We would stay there again. Convenient but quiet location in the city centre within walking distance of the main shopping, public transport and city attractions. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a good breakfast included in the price which makes it good value for money by Norwegian standards. Good value for money. Excellent location -between pedestrian zone and Central Station in one direction, and town hall (Radhus) & harbour in the other direction. Easy access -no steps -good lift- good security. This hotel was very, very convenient to all public transportation, and is one block from Karl Johan street, and 2 blocks from the water. The bathroom was pretty large, and the room was comfortable and new. Don't hesitate to stay here!. Very nice room, not cramped. Plenty of space in the bathroom. Handy position to Main Street or wharf area. Ample breakfast. Helpful staff. After a month travelling through Nth. Europe this was the best value for money. Great location, breakfast and service. Beautiful rooms, very good arranged. A quiet place in city centre. The only one bad point really was to do with the toilet. Although it did not bother me that much, but the design of the door to enter the toilet and shower is very strange. The door for entering the toilet is a sliding door where by its not a door that will shut properly and the shower has no door at all. So if you happen to drop the shower head be ready for everything to get wet. But like I said personally it was of no bother to me, rather it was just strange to see that. Some noise from the tram, but it's nothing too serious really. Personally dont like the decor but this wouldnt stop me from returning to this hotel, due to its price, location, and facilities. Very expensive by U.S. standards - but typical of Europe, and especially Norway, in general. view from window of room but not overly bothered by this. Nothing to complain about. The heat--given climate change, sooner or later they're going to have to put in air conditioning for July and August. Nothing - the hotel was great for my three-night break in Oslo. The breakfast room staff was good in that they kept the room clean and the food stocked. But I have never before seen dishes in a virtually empty room cleared away from right under the guests' noses. The first two days, this was not an issue. On the last day of our visit, the staff was in a clear hurry and it stressed us out! The bathroom doors are fine for travellers who know each other well, but offer very little privacy. Apart from breakfast the food offering was very limited and expensive. No computer for internet/emailing for guests without their own laptop. I honestly can't think of anything lacking in this hotel. Not many coffee, milk, sugar samples provided. The breakfastroom was far too small. It was difficult to find a table. As is the case with most of Northern Europe the Duvet was too hot for me, but a lighter version was not available. Lack of space to store clothes (no wardrobe). The sliding toilet door-it left gaps with side so lack of privacy!. Nothing. Beds are too small. Nothing. Breakfast room is small with therefore limited quantity of food (even though the selection is wide). No complaints. Nothing. You need a bigger toaster to take four slices at once, or several toasters. I know Europeans don't toast their bread, but all Australians, New Zealanders and Americans do, and that's a lot of people standing in queue in your dining room. Frustrating and time consuming. Had a little trouble finding it at first, but it's really just off the main street - Carl Johansgate about 2 blocks. Breakfast was crowded - hard to get a seat at peak time. A bit of street noise at night but not too bad for its central location. We stayed 2 nights, after the forst night the housekeeping only made beds and changed towels. The coffee cups and glasses they have left dirty.. We had to wash them with soap by ourselves. But maybe they did not have the time.. As we would like to pay the room in cash we had to deposit 500 Kronen although we paid the room rate in full in advance. Of course we have got the deposit back during check out but we didn't understand the reason for the deposit. Nothing worth mentioning. Carpet from the room to the elevator was dirty. The pillars on the bed could be better. Bed was quite small and although room was very clean I have never seen such a dirty hotel window before... Rates for meeting packages are a bit high. Expensive, but not too bad for Norway. Breakfast restaurant was full each morning, could be bigger. The breakfast room is a bit small. Sometimes you have to wait for an available table to have your breakfast. The room was a bit noisy with noises coming from other rooms.
