I liked the design, everything is very beautiful and in harmony despite many different details. The staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are very rich and very tasty - superb! The room we were in is beautiful, roomy, pleasant to sleep in and to sit in and the view is great. Everything is bright and clean. The only thing that I missed was, and this was the case in all the hotels we were in in Scndinavia, is - where do you put your soap and shampoo while you are in the shower.

Amazing breakfast! In addition to normal bacon, eggs, etc, they had very large selection of different kind of fishes, at least 15 different types. All excellent! Hotel very nice new modern building with nice views. Good beds, and selection of pillows, they even provide "pillow menu" to choose from.
This sparkling new hotel was superlative in every way. The staff members werevery helpful. The room was comfortable and of good size. There was even a "pillow menu" so that each guest got the right pillow for a good nights rest. The breakfast buffet was extensive and excellent.
Courteous, friendly and efficient staff. Excellent views of Narvik harbour and the town. A generous breakfast was provided, with a wide range of nutritious and delicious food - as is usual in Scandinavian hotels. Our rooms was very comfortable and all facilities modern.
Superb hotel, extremely comfortable and clean, location great in the middle of Narvik, staff fabulous, parking 100 nk a night (attached to hotel), good to stay with a dog, breakfast spread excellent - one of the best Rica's i have stayed at - would def stay here again!.

a little bit pricey. And hotel did not accept Diners Card even if they supposed to do that. Parking not included in the price.

Location : Although advertised as "less than a 10-minute walk away" from Narvik railway station, we found this misleading.Weighed down by two heavy suitcases, (like most travellers) the walk took us at least 20 minutes.
Nothing - everything was above par!.
Only one small complaint: the door on the shower niche seems to have been put in the wrong way. Luckily we are both slim people, but we could only just squeeze in.
At the Internet adverticement I was promised a room at least at the 11.th floor for the price I payd, When I came I got a room at 6th floor. When I asked to be moved, I came to the 10th floor. Anoying, and as far as I could see, it was not to many people staying in the hotel... And the price is very high.
we had 2 single beds pushed together instead of a true double.

The wifi was not good. It was just connection in a small part of the room. It was a sunny day and it was very varm in the room.

parking, unclear situation of parking garage (Parking is a general issue in Scandinavian cities).
Did not seem to be good communication between the evening staff and the morning staff. We needed a breakfast packed for an early departure, but the young man who was on duty in the morning did not seem to know about this.
According to letsbookhotel.com à superiour room, which we had, would be located on the 11th floor or higher. Ours was on third floor with no seating area. Bad when you travel with small children.

Parking problems.
Asked for an allergy-frieindly room but got a poorly cleaned room with carpets. No good resting chair in the rooms, just a design wooden chair with a pillow in it. With many people at the same time at breakfast the staff was always behind with refilling food and cuttlery. No distinct division between food for allergic persons and normal food at breakfast. Glutenfree bread then got contaminated, and was also eaten by "everybody", leaving nothing to those who needed it :-(.
We had reservation for 2 rooms. We waited the other room 3,5 hours until 20.30. Cleaning was not ready!.
The Hotel looked like not finish.
