This hotel is scenically situated within 7 km of the Nigardsbreen Glacier and the Jostedalsbreen Glacier National Park. It features free Wi-Fi, bright rooms and an on-site restaurant with bar. A TV and wooden floors are provided in each soundproofed Jostedal Hotel room, as well as a bathroom with a shower and toiletries. Some also include a kitchenette or balcony with a view of the mountains and Jostedølen River that runs alongside the hotel. Norwegian cuisine is served in Hotel Jostedal’s restaurant with views of the surrounding nature. During nice weather, guests can enjoy the hotel’s terrace and volleyball court. Breheimsenteret Glacier Centre, 2 km away, assists in booking area activities such as guided glacier hiking tours, rafting and kayaking. Sogndal town centre is 60 km from the hotel.

The staff are all lovely. Brilliant location, only 5 mins drive to the Nigardsbreen Glacier. Lots of outdoor adventures to be had. Really good breakfast, delicious home made jams and apple juice. Local goats cheese was great too!.
Very friendly staff. We ordered a two bedroom appartment which was a big fully furnished appartment with kitchen and livingroom. Good breakfast with local made food and juice. Location is great, close to the glacier.

We were leaving on a Sunday and traveling by bus. No bus until 1800 and the staff found someone to take us half hour down the mountain in the morning. They also had gluten free pizza which was excellent.
The hotel is in a remote place so it's great if you want to be close to nature. We had a lovely apartment which was very warm. The staff were also very friendly. Beds were comfortable too.
GREAT FOOD! And they have the best chocolate in the entire country! It was a convenient location, and extremely accommodating staff!.

Needs a renovation. The hotel is more like a hostel and the à la carte food is more like fast food. However the hotel doesn't present itself any better than it is.
