I don't frequently provide reviews of hotels, but Ohtel is very special. It is all the things hotels would probably like to be, but don't quite achieve. Ohtel is seriously stylish. It provides a luxurious experience, while being close to the heart of beautiful Wellington. I cant wait to book again!. Gorgeous hotel, fantastic value for money. Location was perfect. The room was really well appointed. Was also really impressed with the little bar in the foyer - awesome chicken pie and glass of wine while killing time on my way back to the airport. Highly recommended!.
所有评语 » I love the Kiwi motif and the fact that its not a large chain hotel, the stylish, unobtrusive design and the vintage furniture. Everything fits on a human scale. The staff are friendly and personable and remembered who I was. The pies and the coffee are outstanding. My stay was basically perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and felt like being at home. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bath were perfect. The staff was amazing and felt like friends. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Wellington. Location. Style. Furniture. Staff. Service. Variety in fridge. View. Space. Individualised temperature control. Balcony -able to open the door. Art work. Clever design features. Sound proof ranchsliders. Comfortable dining cafe area. Warm, cosy and extremely comfortable. Great atmosphere. Fabulous design and furniture pieces. Centrally located. Loved our stay. Pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings and yesterday's furniture made it an enjoyable stay for this "mature" couple. Room very tasteful and well appointed. Excellent collection mid-century design. Maybe a modest Ipod compatible audio system?. Would have liked faster and more solid Internet access. Hard pillows. No bathroom door. Lack of hot water in evening. Being charged for exploding bottle of boutique beer. Damp smell in stairwell. No opportunity to open a window in studio. Breakfast was a tad scant for the price. Although it looked nice, the bathrooms did not have doors so they opened into the bedroom. Not too big a deal though. While the bathroom is large and luxurious, I'm not sold on the 'no door' approach. The bathroom had no door!Only a curtain.No body wants to do their private business behind a curtain.Everything else was great unfortunately no door on the bathroom was a total deal breaker. Nothing. The breakfast was very poor. They put one piece of cheese, one piece of smoked salmon, and other pieces of things to choose from. If there are two guys thy can't both eat cheese or salmon at the same time. Room lacked natural light Not keen on the fact that they converted payment into pounds without asking which cost me more money than it had been charged in dollars. A little noisy, but not a big deal. The lack of privacy in the bathroom because of glass walls and curtains rather than solid walls and doors. (Not sure if we're a young couple or an old couple? We're 39 & 40....nicely middle aged, maybe?!). ...We were not given the room we paid for. We paid for relax with see and park view. Instead we were given a room facing the backyard. We felt very much cheated either by the management of the hotel or by letsbookhotel.com.
