The 3brm unit was spacious and very well kept, with modern bathrooms installed. Extremely clean and quite spacious for a 3 bed unit/house. Internet was a wonderful added bonus for the children. ?Owners/managers were wonderful, full of very helpful information which saved us hours of aimless wandering ;) We were able to see all the best spots and left feeling it was the most we had seen on any of our stays in NZ! Overall a wonderful experience and we wish we could go back tomorrow. Family of 7.
所有评语 » We had a 2 bedroom unit for our family with 2 young children.The unit was clean and tidy. Our hosts were kind enough to lend a big Fisher Price toy which kept our young ones occupied. We were planning to go to Milford Sound the next day and our hosts kept us up-to-date with regards to the road conditions to Milford Sound. There was also laundry and dryer facilities available for us. Wi-Fi Internet was also provided for free which was rare during our trip to New Zealand. We stayed in the room which is located nearest to the street. Thus we had two additional windows making the room very friendly and bright. The king size bed was very comfortable, huge flatscreen TV. The room was equipped with everything you need. Lots of details to make you feel at home. The owner was very friendly and the whole building was in an immaculate condition. No views of the lake, but excellent value for the price. Our room was comfortably warm although our grown son was right next to us. We were happy with the internet connection as I had to contact "Great Sights" to let them know our trip to Milford Sound was cancelled due to an avalanche. They let me know my money would be refunded. Having a rental car we were able to drive around the lake. The location was very quiet and the motel layout excellent. We especially appreciated the excellent quality of the bed. The owners were extremely helpful with details of the area and the cat was a delight! It was a bonus to have such a warm room after a very wet Doubtful Sound cruise!. Wonderful motel that was very clean and comfortable for family with 2 older kids.(14 and 17). Sky movie channel a real bonus as was the free unlimited wifi.Easy walk to town.Helpful owners with ideas and advice on day trips and tours. Would highly recommend this motel. Very relaxed, comfortable and friendly motel in Te Anau. Well appointed rooms and friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this for a relaxing few days stay. Wonderful scenery and a good staging point for a trip to Milford Sound. The owner, Jill, went out of her way to help us create the experiences we wanted. It was a great location for getting around. We would stay there again. Comfy & affordable. Kitchen facilities works for us, loved the use of BBQ too!. Lovely, clean and modern units. Nice and quiet location and close to the town centre/shops/food. Guest laundry was also nice and clean. Very enjoyable stay. The owners had an absolutely, beautiful cat too! (I wanted to take him home). The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother for them. they were also able to give a lot of valuable information about the area. rooms very clean, motel located in quiet street close to lake. Very friendly and the facilities were excellent. Luxury was the only word from your sit that was close to describing the motel. Maybe less than, but very close. Every thing was new and hi-tec, Big >50" flat screen TV, New, appliances, large room, super clean. Even liked the local cat at the Motel. Loved the place. The rooms had been refurbished and were very clean and had all amenities. Wonderful hot, powerful shower with good quality towels. A short walk to town. The house was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with plenty of heating, and everything you need in the kitchen and laundry. Thank you!. A very comfortable motel with modern facilities. Staff were excellent advising on the local area and booking trips.Good value. Very friendly welcome, it helped us a lot by giving us tips for organizing our stay in Te Anau and in the fjords. Comfy bed. Everything is perfect. This motel was clean and comfortable but more suited to familes than couples/ single travellers. Te Anau is wonderful. lounge heater didnt seem quite strong enough to warm the large area (but if closed the kitchen/dining off was fine) kids didnt seem to be able to keep it closed though! lol. It would have been nice if they had a detachable shower head for the kids. We could not fault this motel apart from the lack of shelf space in the bathroom for washbags etc. 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town (all restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc). Rooms were a little on the small side. Free WiFi but couldn't get on internet. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing really, maybe the next renovations would be updating the kitchen cupboards!. We had bathroom with a wet room one of two they have. Would have preferred a normal bath room. This should not put anyone off staying at this hotel. Nothing. n/a. Overall it was excellent. Looks a little dated. nothing, just a little bit far from town if you're not driving. Nothing!. I think the kitchenette should be separated so the cooking smell doesn't stays in the room. Nothing. Location is in a residential area but the short walk into Te Anau made up for this. from the pictures on the net this motel was a let down on arrival.
