It was cheaper because it was further from Amsterdam but it was right on the train line with a direct route into Amsterdam Central. The ride was only about 25 minutes or so each way.   I liked the fact that my room was left alone. I put out the "do not disturb" notice. Too many times with hotels, they go in and change bedding and towels, daily. I stayed for three nights I didn't feel the need to change linen. The previous hotel I stayed in not only changed towels, they took away a partly used soap after one night. I have been visiting - very good service . simona was the best.
