  The Bed & Breakfast -aan de Singel van was just brilliant and took us by surprise. We arrived long before our check-in time and Menno and Coby were in the middle of cleaning the room. They were just as surprised as we were. Anyway, we were given a very warm welcome and we could keep our bags in the room until it was ready so we went for a walk... 别人怎么说 » . This b & b only has the one room - Tenant who is adorable came to pick us up at the train station. The brand new studio is exceptionally neat in every details, modern and ideally situated on one of the rings. Bikes and a boat are available. Generous breakfast neatly served as a piece of art on a nice tray. Perfect stay & perfect night sleep. Would definitely return and recommend. Séjour parfait ! Propriétaire attentionné.   Looking at the map of Utrecht we were concerned that we'd be isolated from the town, and also from public transport. But in fact, there are lots of buses passing by (bus stop 200 metres away) and the trip to town is 10 minutes. The bus stops by the train station and its associated HUGE shopping mall. The hotel itself is very clean, everything work... 别人怎么说 » s, facilities are good quality - for UK visitors, TV is BBC 1 and 2 plus World. BBC 1 is from Northern Ireland somewhat oddly. Breakfast is nicely p - We checked in at 5 in the morning (after a Trance party) and probably looked and sounded a bit weird (not drunk cause I don't drink ... just really tired and I had paint on my face :)) but the young guy at the reception was uber professional (like they usually are in Holland). Also, the next day, all the staff we met (in total 5 or 6) were extremely polite and professional. Big kudo's to the Dutch way of doing things.
