  When we arrived we couldn't believe how nice it looked, very clean and comfortable. When Greeted by the reception staff we were offered a free drink and some much needed information about Amsterdam. The rooms were newly refurbished and clean. They also let me bring my dog, and were very nice to him as well :) The location was great, it was very near many of the main museums, within walking distance, and the tram stops were about 5 min walk away. Room had a safe to lock up valuables which was free, and - Quiet location and spacious room: it is definitely worth staying slightly outside the city centre for these comforts. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries and the Vondelpark, which is great for picnics, reading and people-watching if you want a break from the hustle and bustle (or from all those paintings!).
