The room opened directly onto the canal side and I could sit outside the room by the Nieuwegracht [new canal] on a foldup chair and cushion in the peace and quiet and so was a complete novelty experience. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The rooms were nice, basic and most importantly clean. Its about a 10-15min walk to the City Train Station. We really enjoyed our stay there and will book there again if we ever go to Utretcht again - Great location, friendly and knowledgable staff.
