I stayed at Kangsar Guest House and can recommend them. It is situated in Thamel, near all the shops, walking distance from Durbar Square and others if weather permits. The staff members were absolutely friendly and helpful overall. The rooms are basic but a person do not need more. The owner is also very helpful and will supply with information, also arrange tours, flights if needed. I can overall recommend Khangsar Guest House. To be recommended. Thank you for a great stay.
所有评语 » Kangshar Guest House is the place to sleep if you are coming to Kathmandu just for a few days or even for a longer period. We stayed here for 1week and a half and we felt like home. The location is really good, central but not in the middle of all the noise. You have power and internet (slow but it works). They have an amazing and really friendly staff willing to help you with everything. The terrace is great for a sunset beer. We enjoyed pretty much our stay here. Thanks!. Great hostel with good location. Very helpful and friendly staff. They have a good travel office who can help you plan your trekking, safari, bungy jump, rafting and many more things. Wi-Fi 24/7 in lobby and most of the tike in the room. Very nice rooftop there you can rest after a long day in Kathmandu. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta guesthouse i Katmandu:). Friendliness and helpfulness of their hostel staff, very cosy environment where I was treated like part of their family, it was almost like home. Khangsar's rooftop garden is a perfect place for hanging out, I saw the snow cap mountain from a distance. Thamel shopping is less than 5 min walk from here. I had a nice stay here, will recommend to all my friends. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Cheap prices, clean rooms. They help you organize your trip to other parts of the country, possibility to temporarily leave bags at the hotel. Very welcoming atmosphere. Nice place in Thamel (downtown). Backup generator to make up for the frequent blackouts in Nepal. Many different restaurants nearby - also has it's own. khangsar is a lovely place in kathamandu .the rooms are excellent value for money and people are amazing and everything is excellent this hotel.there is also resturant very good food in resturant rooms are very clean totally positive experience at this hotel i will absolutely stay next time i visit to kathmandu. Khangsar GH is really nice place with friendly staff, central location, free Wi-Fi in reception area and hot water in each room. There's no swimming pool or other luxury facilities but you should realize that it's budget place for travelers. Definitely will recommend to my friends. Khangsar Guest House was a super friendly and relaxed place to stay. The staff will do anything to make you comfortable and the owner Rajendra will answer every question you might have about your trip. Great location also, close to all amenities in Thamel. The hotel located in a central good area in Kathmandu, The staff were friendly, helpful & great. One day during my stay I didnt feel well and the owner himself took me to the hospital. If you are a solo traveler won't feel a lone at all!. The staff is really really nice!!! We have 15 people, when we met so many trouble the warm-hearted staff always helped us out.what's more, They helped us book 4 days trip in Chitwan and pokhra all very nice. We can toally trust here. The only thing to point is that the rooms are a bit cold. nothing!. I liked everything!. The plastic covers on mattress. It was my first experience sleeping in a one star, yet it was an ok one, it's just part of ktm experience. nothing. Nothing particular - the rooms are very basic and the shower is not always very hot... a bit overpriced for the quality you get. Very noisy, dogs barking all night long. There is no elevator in a 4th floor building In the 3rd and 4rd floor the water comes brown. Electrical cuts regularly but not only at the guesthouse Works on next building. Rooms were not very clean running water was brown. So not usable for anything Although manager can organize all sort of tours, I realized that there are double standards, what you get charged is depending on negotiation skills. So you can be charged double with big smile on the face.
