  We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The receptionist was very welcoming and - A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.

  Spent 2 nights in this nice hotel near the northern part of the wall (near Bab Bouzamarne gate). Ali and his staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful (he even let us ride with them to Inezgane to catch a bus). Excellent wifi available in the room, a good heater/ac unit and satellite TV (although so many channels to wade through that we soon gave... 别人怎么说 » up). The beds are very comfortable. He has several bicycles that can be used for free and the included breakfast was terrific (and huge). We had the - We stayed at Riad for three days and were happy with our choice. Staff and owner Ali were extreemely helpful- he even took us in his car around Taroudannt- Atlas mountains, Souss Massa National Park, Tioute. Without his help we wouldn't have seen so much. We regret not to have ordered to be picked up from the airport. Breakfast was delicious and tagine superb.

  Owner and staff so friendly and willing to help... gave us a tour and let us choose our own room as we were the first to arrive for night, the food were some of the best in all of our stay in Morocco, and the pool area is quite relaxing and clean.   Chez Talout is the best place we staid during our trip in Marocco! The auberge is located in a surrounding that is a bit desolated, but sooo beautiful!   This has got to have been one of the nicest Hotels/Riads I have ever stayed in. At every turn there is some beautiful to look at. A real gem of a place. We were only staying one night sadly and our friends and ourselves booked the two 'tower' rooms with patios which were lovely. The food was great and the breakfast too. We were offered the choice of room given the low bookings that night and chose the top floor room. Beautiful! We arrived late at night and after we warned them, they kindly still served us food, by the pool, with candles, that was wonderful. Then we had to leave very early in the morning and they still prepared a breakfast feast, as if it had been the regular hour. I would highly highly recommend...

We visited during winter and there were very few guests, which allowed dinner to be served in front of the open fire. Perfect location right next to the old mellah and the palmerai.

  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.

  We had planned to stay for one day two nights but did extend because it was an awesome opportunity for a holiday from holidays.   We were looking for a comfortable place in the roses valley and read the reviews on Kasbah Chems, particularly on the fact that guided hiking could be organize from it.   Great facilities, lovely pool, billiard and cinema, great outdoor area and above all wonderful host francoise and Michel, who were helpful and made it all very easy for us. We had travelled a substantial time through Morocco and wanted to splash - One of the best hotels on our 20 day trip in Morroco. I mostly enjoyed the creativiness (hope that word exists) of the design of the construction. I believed it was an abandoned Kasbah reconstructed. The room is very smart and cozy. Totally worth it.
