  Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help.Owner is french and serves high-quality meals. Pleasant gardens around pool. I went form the ridiculous to the sublime - coming from the worst service I'd ever at in my life (at Tangier's MArco Polo Hotel) to the best I've ever had (at the Malak).   We stayed in this hotel just for 1 night on 17th of May, 2013. It is one of the best options before heading to Merzouga. The location of the hotel is very nice, it is only 30 mins. away from Midelt, a central place on your way to Merzouga. The hotel is clean, neat and dity. As to the price, it is great. - We liked everything: the friendly staff that welcomed us with the classic mint tea and for one of us with an excellent coffee (they have a proper European coffee machine!) and almond cakes, the fact that they have their own parking, the clean and spacious rooms, the nice dinner and breakfast that we had, not to forget that the staff speaks, English and French, turned this hotel into an oasis for us.

  We spent two nights one night in this stunning kasbah, and one night in Sahara desert, This really felt like a large Moroccan home. The tile and dark woods lent a touch of cultural mystery.   Drive to the car park towards the top of mi and a guide will find you. The hotel is in the Medina nearby. It is clean, quiet with common balconies and the staff really want you to have a nice stay. The big draw though is being near to Volubilis. Get there at 09:00 before the buses and offer the guide Dir200 for a personal one hour tour.
