  Well located in the heart of the Medina, we found the suite to be roomy and sunny and provided a very enjoyable 4 day stay. We were met at the train station and delivered to the riad quickly and efficiently for a small fee.   We stayed in Riad Jean Claude for two nights in October. We booked the Fes twin room because this was the only one available. Like the Meknes room this room is situated on the highest floor of the Riad. The room has a private terrace which gives you a great view over the Fes medina. The bathroom had a good shower and all facilities we needed. But there is - Jean Claude was the most helpful friendly host you could possibly find. He collected and dropped us off at the bus station and helped us with onward tickets. The riad was in an excellent location very close to the medina but just far enough away to be quiet. The swimming pool was great to have after a hot day exploring. The delicious breakfast was served in a lovely garden setting and the view from the balcony was spectacular

  What a great place! We too were upgraded to a larger room because the hotel was not full. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and couldn't be happier. The included breakfast was wonderful especially the fresh orange juice, Moroccon coffee, fresh pastries and more. We were 2 couples and we reserved suite amina, but since Hotel wasn't full they upgraded us to 2 beautiful and confortable bedrooms (with great bathroom) in a house just in front of the main building, witch had all facilities corresponding to the main building including wireless wich worked very well! Location is near Bab Guissa, wich is very convenient if you have a car, since you can leave it in the park (not free) just outside medina and walk just a bit

  The entire staff at Riad La Cle De fes were delightful. We arrived in the middle of the night and Mohammed, who had been asleep, opened the door and carried our heavy luggage upstairs.   - Very beautiful riad, just like a museum! - Right in the medina, easy to access from one of the parking gate. It's hard to find without guide for the first time, but it's the same for most other riads in the medina. The hotel owner came to pick us up which was sweet. I have never before experienced a warmness like this before, as if you are coming home with friends. My friend was sick wenn we arrived and was taken care of immediately. Sakina and Hussein bought him medication, for which they did not want to get any money. They boiled him rice and did not charge, etc. These are lovely people. And the Riad is a nice place. An oasis of calm in the hectic of a Moroccan city.
