As soon as we arrived in the Medina by cab, we were greeted by a guide from the riad who delivered us safely to Elsa.
Upon arrival we were greeted with tea and the owners gave us tips on what to see, how to get around and to avoid any local water / ice etc. They were also kind enough to lend us Moroccan dirham for dinner which we could settle on our departure. The daily breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop terrace.

The riad is inside a small alley, not far away from the palace. The room is small but well democrated. Wifi is weak inside the room. But the common area is comfortable.

The 6 of us had such a great time. Simo and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful, arranging a traditional Morroccan meal for our late arrival, advising us on sights and restaurants and organising a day at a beautiful private pool when the temperature hit 40! The location within the medina next to the Royal Palace is great and although the walk to Jemaa el fna takes 10-15 minutes it means you see more of the side streets plus the palace walls with nesting storks. The Riad is beautiful, clean and relaxing. Some people may say its a bit far from the main square but this actually worked in our favor as it is a very quiet place to put your feet up after a hectic/hot/tiring day in Marrakesh. Its also very close to the Kasbah and palaces.

This was a lovely place to stay for a few nights while we were in
Marrakesh. Full of atmosphere and Moroccan character. Not luxury but
beautiful design, furniture and features. We had the two rooms on the
ground floor with the courtyard and pool between them where we had

The relaxation of the riad was wonderful, you would never know of all the hustle & bustle going on outside. The roof top area was lovely. Very friendly staff, nothing was any trouble for them. They were always helpful with advise, making reservations & booking taxi's.
Some of us had been before & would recommend an organised trip to the Altlas mountains & to see how the other half live at the NIkki beach! Some good shopping for souvenirs.
