  What a great place! We too were upgraded to a larger room because the hotel was not full. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and couldn't be happier. The included breakfast was wonderful especially the fresh orange juice, Moroccon coffee, fresh pastries and more. We were 2 couples and we reserved suite amina, but since Hotel wasn't full they upgraded us to 2 beautiful and confortable bedrooms (with great bathroom) in a house just in front of the main building, witch had all facilities corresponding to the main building including wireless wich worked very well! Location is near Bab Guissa, wich is very convenient if you have a car, since you can leave it in the park (not free) just outside medina and walk just a bit

  A delightful stay with wonderful and friendly staff. Location is away from the hustle and bustle which was a nice reprieve and handy to get to with a vehicle.   The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. He organized our pickup and return to the train station and also a side trip we took.   We stayed in Riad Jean Claude for two nights in October. We booked the Fes twin room because this was the only one available. Like the Meknes room this room is situated on the highest floor of the Riad. The room has a private terrace which gives you a great view over the Fes medina. The bathroom had a good shower and all facilities we needed. But there is - Jean Claude was the most helpful friendly host you could possibly find. He collected and dropped us off at the bus station and helped us with onward tickets. The riad was in an excellent location very close to the medina but just far enough away to be quiet. The swimming pool was great to have after a hot day exploring. The delicious breakfast was served in a lovely garden setting and the view from the balcony was spectacular

I tried to call the Riad & Said called me back on my Ho - Beautiful traditional Moroccan riad. There are open terrace on the roof, which is bit higher than other buildings around, so you can enjoy the view. All rooms are decorated in individual, original way with different paintings. Some rooms have only a window to internal yard, which is very nice. On the first floor there are rest area with sofas, guide books and other travel materials.
