The Ibis is situated on the outskirts of town a very short taxi drive away from the old Medina (haggle the price before getting in, we paid just 2dh about 2 euros each way for 2 people in a petite taxi and 5dh for 4 in a grand taxi each way). Although it is right by the modern train station there is little noise from the trains. We bought a map of Fez from the news agents in the station but trust me when I say trying to follow it was near on impossible. We were touring in our own car and were.
所有评语 » We spent three nights there and took two day trips from Fes (Meknes, 1 hour and Taza 2 hours). The hotel's proximity to the train station made it an ideal location for us, though it is still only a short petit taxi ride (10mins) to the Medina (9.50 Dirhams on the meter, though be careful because most taxis outside are picking up people from the train station and ripping them off. One taxi quoted us 40 Dirhams) There is a nice outdoor pool on the ground floor. Buffet breakfast was nice. It's a modern hotel and so you can't really feel the taste of Morocco, but the location is very convenient for both train and bus travelers (there's the Supratour bus office just across the hotel) and it might be better than looking for a ryad in the medina for an hour only to get lost. The room was clean and spacious. The pool and the grounds are meticulously kept. After a day in the hot and dirty medina of Fes, this place is like an oasis. If you are traveling by train, it is right out the door of the station. The breakfast is worth adding the extra cost too.l. Location, esp if your travelling by train or bus which we were Lots of cheap eating places close by.. Lovely clean pool with an attendant on hand at all times therefore great for children. Only ten dirhams to go to the medina by taxi. The hotel is bang in the city centre (modern part), just by the train station. It has a small pool and computer for guests in the lobby. The rate is good, similar to what you'd pay for something way inferior in the medina. the location is just great, it's next to the train station of Fes. All facilities are standard. After staying at all kinds of homestay in Morocco, I was thrilled to stay in Ibis. It's really clean and comfort. The hotel is in great location, right next to the train station and compared to most of other Moroccan properties it was very clean and european- ish. Also the pool is nice. Wifi in the room. Swimming pool of medium but good size. Location, literally 50 mts away from the train station, impossible not seeing when coming out. The staff was very polite and the room very clean. The best thing at this hotel is the swiming pool. Taxi from hotel to Medina is 15-20 Dhr. We ate in the first night we arrived and complained about two of the 4 meals we ordered and in fairness they took one meal off the bill. Second night we got a taxi to a 'tripadvisor' rated restaurant called Chez Victorrio's which was ok. The breakfast at the hotel was more than ok and buffet style. Scrambled eggs, pastries, yogurts, fresh baguettes and Moroccan flat breads plus jams and cereals. The area around the hotel is questionable at night, as is most of Fes except to those who know the city. You must travel by petite taxi to the medina, but since they are very cheap, it is better to stay here rather than in or near the Median with this hotel's excellent pool if you are here in the hot summer. Dogs barking in the allotment closeby. Everything went smoothly. No kettle and hairdryer..a little bit inconvenient but it's alright. Every morning cleaning ladies used to chat in the corridor so loudly, that we'd wake up because of the noise. Not include breakfast. The rooms don't have any Moroccan character -- so if you want that, stay in the medina. Not really clean rooms/floors. nothing. Asked for a double room and got two twins pushed together. Restaurant is a bit pricey for Fes. Everything in the hotel is westers and expensive. You dont have the feeling you're in marocco. Setting of breakfast buffet. Lines were sometimes quite long. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. poor breakfast nothing cooked. went eqch dqy to station qnd hqd much better just 3 mins walk from hotel. Breakfast is OK but could be improved with just a Little effort. My camera went missing. sentimental pictures. nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. A little bit Bathroom too small and compacted . Price compared to other 4* hotels is not compatible . Receptionist was rude and grumpy and needed a lot of persuasion to return something we left in our room. 1. The hotel staff were not very helpful or friendly. 2. The hotel does not even have a map of the place. You can easily find better alternatives. price was less interesting. Not very service minded. Wi Fi is very poorly connected ,Kees on kicking you off. I did not like receptionists.They were not friendly or smiling at all Room was very tiny.Water was leaking from the aircon. TV was old fashion.Ibis Fes is the worst Ibis I've been to in Morocco.
