It was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for four days in Essaouira. The hotel staff were very helpful at all times. It's an approximate 4 minutes walk to the market area. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and lovely. My wife wants to go back, I'm sure we will one day!

  We had to cancel our first night due to illness, but everybody at Dar Ness was most helpful. All staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. It was nice that both James and Elizabeth, the owners, were on hand to chat and provide advice about the area. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. Gave good advice on restaurants to go to in the medina. The room was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio was very nice as well, and the day we were leaving (at an earlier time than the breakfast was set), the staff at the reception prepared it anyhow. We had a lovely time in Essaouira!

  The staff was one of the best I experienced in Morocco--which says a lot if you know anything about Moroccan hospitality. The owner allowed my boyfriend and I to use her personal bathroom and shower at 8 pm at night after we checked out and before our flights.   If you’ve been lost in the Marrakesh medina, you’ll know how important being able to easily get to your riad is. This is the best feature of Dar Zayna. Most visitors will arrive at the Supratours terminal. Suite for 4 was a good size and this hotel luckily did NOT have mosque loudspeakers booming into the room at 0530!! Nice leisurely breakfasts. For example, I checked out and left my luggage with reception and asked if I - Great location in the city walls, afcing the rough sea. Small but lovely rooms- I would recommend the rooms with sea view. Breakfast on terrassse is great. Main streets, sholing and restaurants all 2-5 min walking distance, but inside very quiet. With car drive directly to teh city walls, there they show you the parking. From Front gate, cross the inner city towards Bab al-Bahr (5 min. walk). Hotel also can arrange a pick up.
