  This hotel is a kind of "posada", really nice! 100% mexican style. All the staff have been really kind with me, it is like to be at home. I had room nr. 12, just in front of the pool, very quiet place, seems to be in a colonial house! Good breakfast (included), no dinner, only snacks. Laundry is free, Internet also. - The hotel was architecturally very pleasing to the eye. The colors were happy, the murals tastefully done and the plants are soothing, making us feel very warm and comfortable. The staff was exceptional. One of the perks was off street valet private parking. We had a wonderful stay and we look forward to staying there again. We recommend this to anyone staying in Tlaquepaque.

I requested a room with a balcony and got it no problem. The room was huge and bath was spacious. Staff was helpful.   We wanted something central and at a reasonable price. I think we got what we expected. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the centre of Guadalajara (University Square) and buses run right past the door for us$ 0.50. The metro is three blocks away. We felt it was safe and didn't feel nervous walking about at any time. The whole place is very c - This is the house of a woman and her two daughters, so it feels very cozy and friendly. I received lots of helpful advice and directions from the woman who runs the place; very knowledgeable about (and enamored of) the town and environs.
