  The view of the swimming pool is so nice. We loved to have refrigerator and microwave in the room (they have a little cooker and a coffee machine there, but we didn't use it).   We decided very well in advance for Reina Roja for our one week stay in Playa del Carmen, and we are so glad we did. It's a very original theme and concept. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and though there is light all around the hotel in the room you can do total darkness. Overall loved the place. Recommend it for younger couples/people.
