  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable.   The location. If you stayed in the rooms which is facing the sea, oh my its such a wonderful place with a great view of the sea, the yachts and also the nearby islands. Do request for rooms facing the sea if you plan to stay there. Location wise, it's also well placed. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately.
