Dongdaemun Inn is the best guesthouse I have stayed at throughout my entire Asia grad trip. The service from John (the manager) and his staff (Dahee and Yayun) was simply amazing. They were really friendly and willing to give recommendations and advice whenever we asked for it. Everyone spoke near-perfect English in the guesthouse. John was also kind enough to offer us a free upgrade to a room meant for 3 people as we wanted a double bed when our original room only had space for a bunk bed. Loc.
所有评语 » Staff was wonderful, very helpful and spoke English. The manager John personally helped us find a place to eat upon our first night arriving. Inn was very easy to find and very close to station. Family Mart and foreign card friendly ATM within 50ft of inn. Inn provides free laundry service and no curfew. walking distance to famous dongdaemun shopping ( hello A PM / migilore) Very close to good mom and pop Korean restaurant ( 다모아) good prices, great food. Really liked the couple running it. . I really like the location of this place, it's situated near to dongdaemun night market. The 3 lines make it convenient for us to travel to places efficiently and easily. It's next to 7-11, so convenient to grab whatever we need, late night snacks. The staffs there are very friendly and welcoming. I really like John and Heather, who never fails to try their best to go to the extra mile to help us. Overall, it's really value for money there and I would come back again. The location is great. The subway station is just in front of the inn, which is an interchange station for three major subway lines in Seoul: 2,4 and 5. With that, You can basically go anywhere. Also, the airport shuttle is quite near as well. John is one of the nicest hosts I've ever met. He really put in his efforts in servicing every guest. He even tries to remember every guest's name. If you likes shopping, the night market and shipping malls are near, too!. It was a lot of save money to stay with bothroom ,and location was great,cross subway (petty...a lot of steps ) It was coincident Dongdaemun Inn was same owner where I stayed place before but this hostel was nice room rate than before . If you need something just ask... Stuffs help a lot of and kind. 偶然にも以前泊まったホステルと同じオーナーの場所でしたが、こちらのほうが格安の料金でした。ロケーションも良好、地下鉄の近くです。（但し階段が多い）プライベートのシャワーとトイレつきで、格安の料金です。必要なものは、スタッフにたずねる事と対応は親切にしてくれました。. The Inn is very near the subway station so it's easy to get to various destinations in Seoul. The Inn is located right next to Dongdaemun Market and 2 or 3 stations away from famous tourists spots. The airport bus stop is also very near the Inn. John is a very good host and he is very friendly and accommodating. He gave us tips on where to shop, where to eat and how to get to some of the tourist spots in our itinerary. we stayed here for 5 days. we really love it even though the room are quite narrow. no kitchen, no place to have a party but with kindness and friendliness of the staff here. it made us really enjoy staying.the hostel is located very convenient of public transportations and very to find. There is the intersection of 3 lines subway and Airport bus stop is only 50 meters from the hostel. we would like to come back again. I did have a great stay with Dongdaemun Inn as it is easy to find and close to everything. Very convenient to anywhere by either bus or subway. And the staff are so nice, enthusiasm, friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for their help while stayed there. I do recommend for those looking for budget accommodation, and I will definitely stay there for my next visit to Seoul. The owner, John, speaks good English and very helpful. His lady assistant cum cleaner was super friendly, always greeted us with sweet sweet smile. Recenption service opens 24 hours. Superb location - only 3 mins walk to the subway station with 3 train lines and in the mddle of the shopping district. 1. Excellent location. Steps away from subway and 24-hour convenient store. 2. Extremely friendly and helpful staffs: taught us where to shop and where to visit, made us Korean coffee, and accompanied us to wait for airport bus at 5 am in the morning! Feels better than home!!. The location is ideal for those who plan to conveniently get around Seoul, for it is close to Seoul Metro. John, the manager, and his staff are very welcoming and friendly. They are very hospitable and would offer help with your heavy luggage. I really liked that it was very close to the metro, saved a lot of time, and the staff is very friendly, always ready to help. The location was great as well since it just a few steps away from the last stop of airport limousine 6001. The location was very convenient, near to the night markets and shopping malls. The staff were very friendly. If this is your first time in Asia the bathrooms are Korean style so those who are used to only western style bathrooms may have to adjust. The room was a little bit small. The toilet ceiling was low and water droplets were present (due to winter and poor ventilation). The flight of stairs were scary. However, it's really value for money. Great for the price. It was ok room space for one person ,I needed a chair ... I stayed raining season so not so many people to stay in that time , meaning I was lucky.. so quiet at night.... may be you can hear next doors voice ....一人だと部屋の広さも十分ですが,椅子がほしかった。梅雨時期の為に宿泊客も少なく静かでしたが、多分隣の騒音が良く響くのではないかな？. The rooms are small, exactly what you would expect for a place for backpackers. It would be great if there is a small kitchen. Just too many stairs for subway to walk up to the ground. The room is smaller than expected. Room is too small. stairs to the hotel from the mrt is killing me. Nothing. Room was pretty humid. Nothing. It took me a while to find the Inn as it was hidden in a remote lane of the main road. I suggest that the a bigger more obvious signboard to put at the road side for promixity. When i checked out at the Inn at 6am, there was no staff at the counter, though there was a sign stating the staff were 24 hours on duty. No soap in bathroom. no commons area. Tiny towels, thin mattresses, no way to change AC settings. refrigerator has a foul smell and i cannot put anything in it. low ceiling, shower leaked, the Hostel was next door they are connected to Inn so I transferred rest of my stay their. The place was generally dirty and some of the rooms literally smell bad. The rooms were extremely small and very basic. Ceiling for toilet was low, had to hunch the entire time showering (I'm 1.8m). No fire safety, had difficulty moving from room to toilet due to the small amount of space. Towels had a weird smell. Walls were hollow, can easily hear people walking outside. Expensive for the quality of the room. Beds were not clean, and there were many insects. Will not return to this inn.
