Staff can speak English and he confident to talk with me. people who in here are nice. Room make good feeling, I like it.
All was great, specially the staff. Walking distance everywhere, nice conditions to sleep (japanese stile room) and great price too. We also can use de kitchen

The ensuite room is good size and comfortable. Simple decoration. Half way between the train station and the old town. about 8 mins walk from the train station. Good for money.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull. They really wanted you to feel at home. Location is also very good, only 5 minutes walk from central trainstation.
Very friendly staff. Rooms 100% Japanese style, conformable and spacious. Close to station and city centre. Very clean and lovely.

Their staff always help me when i have a question or got problem. They are so friendly. Next time if i have a chance to go back i probably to choose single or twin bed room.
I stayed in mixed dorm 8 bed .There were noice on the bed and when someone walk in the room at night it made me can not sleep well.
Pros: helpful, warm and friendly staff; close proximity to all amenities and attractions in Takayama; free luggage storage; free use of umbrella on a rainy day; free coffee and tea in the kitchen; free flow of hot water dispener in the kitchen; free Wifi; free use of bath liquid and shampoo
Cons: shower and toilet spaces are tight; common shower area is found only in level 1; room space is fairly tight for quad-sharing; no elevator for bulky luggage to be transfered upstairs (ideal for backpackers or those who travel light)

the whole hostel stinks, all my clothes had that strange smell after one night kitchen and tv room rather dark, cold

It is a strategic location. No curfew time is good. The luggage storage is helpful.
The staff was impatient and does not provide any guide and advise when seek for. The wifi in the room was not accessible at all. Do not provide transport information like highway bus schedule
