The hotel is right next to a river, which makes your sleep very pleasant.There's an indoor hot bath which is very nice.   We spent 1 night in the hotel/Ryokan. Really nice to stay in quite a traditional accommodation. The staff spoke fair English, by Japanese standards. Was very cute that my name was up on a welcome sign and next to my shoe spot. The Japanese breakfast was a good experience, although I didn - When we checked in, we though that we will have a room with a bathroom. Nope! It has only toilet. And we needed to use hotel's common bath. It turned out to be a very good experience using Japanese common bath. It is very clean and very relaxing in hot tub. My second favorite is Japanese gourmet, both dinner and breakfast. They are big meal, I must say. They serve a local specialty called Yuba, which are dishes made from Tofu. Not bad at all.
