Most expensive accommodation we stayed in, but could not find any better - due to our late booking and its very central location a short walk from the station and a very short walk to the castle. Very clean and comfortable, the hotel has an onsen on site and offers free bicycle rental. The staff is polite, helpful, and at ease in English. Probably the best cost / value hotel that I have seen in Japan.

It is reasonably priced as Ryokans go and feels like a little piece of Japenese luxury.
