  Once we know which Ikebukuro exit to take, it became very handy as it was only 2 minutes away. Take Echika exit 6 rather than the west gate of Ikebukuro station. But note that you don't get maid service (even fresh towels) every day. Super location for the slightly quieter tourist who doesn't need to be in the center of it all. Meanwhile, you're only 500m the other way from Sunshine Cit - Apart from the good kitchen facilities, there was enough desk room to work at my laptop in comfort. Location was good, close to all the shops and restaurants in Sunshine City, and close to the airport limousine bus at Prince Hotel.

  Having stayed at the Family Inn Saiko for almost a week I have to say that the whole experience has been a truly pleasant one! In fact, I would go even so far as saying that it was one of the most pleasant experiences in a few years worth of travelling.
