Although in Japan it seems difficult to get a really non smoking room. Especially in hotels which exist a little longer. However this hotel is perfect base for exploring Kumamoto and surrounding.

  Hotel is located next to JR station. It is convenience to take JR or trams to other places for sightseeing. Staff is very helpful even though they can't speak very well english. Position of the Hotel just next to the station, and with a cable car stop right in front of the door, then, both facilities are convenient to either help you organize excursion outside of the city limit from the station, or visit the town and have late evenings in the city.
