  Very good hotel staff were amazing spoke good English and the onsen was brilliant. Had a massage there which was awesome. My room overlooked mount fuji which was magical - beautiful Mt Fuji view and front nice breakfast in front of Mt Fuji Excellent front desk customer service

  Loved the Japanese-style room-very spacious and comfortable and we got a view of Mt. Fuji, also enjoyed the private onsen (with reservation), staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions - I stayed in 3 different Ryokans in Lake Kawaguchiko in this trip, the onsen in Oike Hotel is the BEST.   Superior view of shy Mt. Fuji. Friendly and helpful staff. Very large room, especially in Japanese standards. Room had a TV (only japanese stations as far as I have seen), free Wifi, fridge.   Wonderful hotel. Tricky to find and a steep ascent, but we were then rewarded with a superb view over the bay. Staff were attentive and yet unobtrusive. Decor was tasteful and the room spotless.
