The location of this hotel was absolutely great! Just a 40-minute ride from Venezia Santa Lucia station by vaporetto and you are in the very heart of Venice. Our room faced the inner court so it was very silent, the room was large with old fashioned furniture which gave us retro feeling - it was nice. It was a bit humid in the room but the manager turned the air conditioner on so it became warm and dry. Hairdryers are given on request but you have to give them back every morning. The bed was no.
所有评语 » The place is easy to find and easy to go to everywhere. The single room is big enough for one person and is clean. They make it clean everyday. Even though it is shared bathroom I found it not very busily used so I don't have to wait for long. But you need bring your own shampoo and showering gel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were community bathrooms but they were well kept, always clean. The location was perfect! It's easy to find and so close to St. Mark's, which is really convenient if you get lost you can always find your way back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was also very awesome since it's only a 5 minute walk to the San Marco Square. It's an ideal hotel for those who are looking for something budget friendly. The fabulous owner and night porter, both smiley, full of local knowledge and more than happy to help however they can, I felt very welcome here. The hotel wasn't restored long ago, floors`s creak, audibility`s excellent, a shower and a toilet`s in the general corridor, in number there is a bidet and a wash basin, the only plus is a proximity of all sights. Excellent location. Good breakfast. Location. Breakfast! It was very poor and tasted badly.. So we visited it only once on the first day and the next two days went to cafes nearby. The mattress was not too comfortable. The breakfast is too simple. Wifi is not very fast. And cannot be used in room. The breakfast was ok, but they just had cereal and hard bread. Something that bothered us a bit was that they ask you to leave your key at the front desk every time before you leave and pick it up when you come back, but we noticed when we'd come back a different person would be working that we had never seen before and we just asked for the room number and they handed over the key, it felt a little unsafe. I would not say that "I didn't like". But two things that I would say was the breakfast and wifi. The breakfast was very simple. Only cereal, bread, juice and coffee. The wifi was only used in the common areas of the hotel not in your own room. But, really those two things were not a big deal for me. Only really the lack of air-conditioning, but that would obviously bump the price up. Also a yoghurt and some fruit at breakfast would be lovely. The wifi was only available in the common areas, but at least on level 1 and 2 also, not just the lobby. And it worked well :). The weather was cold and rainy and the heating of the room was not enough for such a big space, the breakfast was very very simple. The pillow was far too hard, breakfast a little bland and there were no tea making facilities in the rooms. Too dark in the room, poor breakfast... Very basic breakfast, cereal, coffee/tea and bread rolls with jams/Nutella. Breakfast was marginal. Was all good, breakfast a little weak. Unclean. Really bad beds. Rooms not totally clean. Wifi just in common areas. Definitely bad relation quality/price. No TV, no heater for coffee, breakfast was poor.
