This is a wonderful B&B. The house is ancient, full of character and beautifully restored. It is right in the middle of the old town of Tivoli and you can walk everywhere. The B&B has been recently refurbished and everything is very tastefully done. It is the perfect combination of architectual period features and modern design. The suite is just grand, with a fantastic view over the roof tops of Tivoly. The breakfast room is gorgeous. It is at the top of a tower with windows to three s.
所有评语 » Al Palazzetto is an absolutely beautiful B&B, in a fabulous location, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We felt more like honoured guests in someone's immaculate home. The quality of the finish in the room was impeccable, with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Nicola even very kindly gave us a lift to the station, and was always ready to provide restaurant recommendations; whilst Maria rescued us by giving our taxi driver instructions as to how to reach Al Palazzetto . A beautiful 18th century Palazzetto, a family property, which has been restored and modernised by a group of young interior designers, resulting in very comfortable, well appointed rooms. The shower was spacious and modern. The young man who let us in was very pleasant, and showed us a fabulous suite of rooms on the ground floor, with original painted ceilings, which they have yet to restore fully and turn into an apartment. The location was very peaceful, in the centre of Tivoli but in a tr. ALthough I should have checked in before 8pm, Nicolo the B&B owner stayed late , met me form the car park and could not have been more helpful and accommodating; the Palazetto itself is really lvoely and has been beautifully restored; the breakfast room is in the tower and overlooks Villa d'Este; very simple, clean, modern and well-appointed and thoroughly to be recommended (really delicious fresh breakfast with lots to choose from including fresh fruit and fruit juice, fresh croissants an. We LOVED our stay at Al Palazzetto! I just wish we had scheduled more time to stay longer! We were greeted warmly by Nicoletta who showed us our room and answered our questions, giving us a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant for dinner. The charming owner Nicola we met the next morning at the delicious (and big) breakfast. A lovely ancient building that was recently renovated and is just beautiful. I would love to return another time to see more of the sights. Highly recommend it!. We received a very warm welcome and some very helpful advice at Al Palazetto. The building had been very recently restored and it was an extremely comfortable place to stay. Our room was immaculate and both it and the bathroom were beautifully designed. We loved the spectacular views from the breakfast room at the very top of the building. Thank you for a very memorable weekend. Ancient town house, Renovated very distinguishedly. Very friendly staff, helped us with his car to get the luggage to the hotel as it is placed in the ancient part of the town and it was hard to get a parking space for the car nearby. 3 min walk from Villa D'Este. This is no ordinary B&B infact I would say it's a BB&B (Boutique Bed & Breakfast) having recently been restored to an extremely tasty & practical style both Colleta your host and Nicolo the proprietor are very proud of Palazzetto and rightly so. It is very centrally located, nice walks around, owners were very nice and tried to help in every way - we were lost in the maze of local streets, phoned them and they came to rescue us. Parking lot is very close, but you still have to carry your luggage a bit. Beautiful original building with lots of security. Centre town and very quiet. Friendly and helpful host who really cares. Make sure you do not log big suitcases to the B & B but more like hand luggage, it is a bit of a (beautiful) walk from the parking. Great location in a 1000 old building with remarkable renovation. Nicola incredibly helpful. Personally came to get us when we were having difficulty locating establishment. Walked us to restaurant with utterly amazing view and ambience he recommended. Il Palazzetto is for sure the best b and b I ever stayed in my life. The personnel is very friendly and the service is super! it's the perfect place for couple or business people. The rooms are very luxurious, extremely clean and comfortable. Fabio and Annalise came to collect us from the station and made us very welcome. The rooms were very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. Breakfast was very generous and served in beautiful dining room with views over the town. This was the nicest room of our trip. The design is modern and elegant. The room was small but we didn't find this to be a problem. The shower and bathroom was very nice as well. Breakfast was great, in a beautiful room upstairs. Our SatNav failed us. Make sure you print out a Google map with instructions before you set off trying to find this place. There are quite a lot of stairs to climb and no lift. It didn't bother me at all because it is all part of the charm of this wonderful old building. But if you have mobility problems or are very unfit, this place may not be for you. Breakfast was good, but for my taste too many sweet cakes. I would have liked some bread. there was no Wi-Fi in the room - we had to spend time in reception area. Street parking limited, but parking lot a few blocks away. Nothing. It was superb. Distance to walk from nearest parking lot is 0.5km, be aware of this if you have heavy luggage to carry. Difficult to find as Tivoli streets quite confusing, owner emailed me directions but was travelling and didn't get email in time. Make sure you get directions. Otherwise perfect!. Our booking form said we would have dressing gowns but there were none. The shower headkept falling off its holder. There could be a couple of chairs to sit on in the bedroom and a bit more room to hang clothes. Also a bistro table and chairs on the balcony would be a good idea. Upon arrival, somewhat difficult to find (common for Tivoli). No elevator (however, staff was happy to help with luggage). being asked to pay cash without enough warning to withdraw sufficient from ATMs, combined with the lie about the card machine being broken. Quantity of breakfast. Difficult to find because of poor street signage, so need to have clear instructions from say the main parking plaza. It was unbelievably difficult to find the hotel. More explanation as to where to park and then how to locate hotel would be useful. Sat nav was ineffective because of the narrow streets and high walls. TVs mounted on the wall meaning that you hear everything if people in another room put theirs on!. Parking is a few minutes walk away. Parking is not on site but at public parking 10 minute walk away. difficult to find, but then anywhere in the centre of tivoli is likely to be like that. Many stairs to reach the rooms. slightly awkward to find. Room and shower quite small. hard to find. It was a bit difficult to find. The breakfast was fresh, but we had only sweets, no bread, it was not enough for my husband. problems with the parking place.
