Apartment was in a fantastic location, walking distance to everywhere in Ortigia. Gabriele was very informative and an excellent host. He emailed a lovely pdf full of sights and recommended restaurants and bars before we arrived as well as information on parking, which was very useful. We lived in the really old (1800') house in the historic center of the Siracusa on the Ortigia island. But inside it was very comfortable apartment.
