great place to stay in Siena
Travelling by car, we found the hotel more easily than we expected. We were given excellent advice at the hotel on parking in Sienna and using the escalator system to enter the old town. The rooms were good and were excellent value, as the prices were low.
We had evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant and weren't greatly impressed, though the dinner prices were at least reasonable.
The hotel was great. The staff were nice, room was very comfortable, the breakfast/meal in the hotel was lovely.
This is not a complaint but an observation for anyone else booking this hotel. The hotel is approx a 15min bus ride from the centre of Sienna so just bear this in mind if booking.

no- everything was very nice- do we did not came with a car and it is best for travelers with car- but travelers like us without a car must plan their stay and then is grate -

The hotel was clean, and breaskfast was reasonable.
The hotel was considerably further from the centre of Siena than indicated on the website (if you want to walk in its more like 4km to the centre than 2km, and along a busy main road). The directions provided to find the hotel were also poor. Also, if you wanted to actually watch any TV whilst you are staying there then don't get too excited as all the channels are in Italian.

Directions to hotel were poor and there is a dearth of signs in Siena for this hotel making it difficult to find. Hotel was noisy due to poor acoustical insulation internally.No external noise apparent however.
The location is handy, but to find it for the first time is terrible. I recommed a better map or route for the website.
Staff was not friendly, and did not speak English.
Air con did not work,mini bars empty,,rooms need painting,no food after9pm in restaurant,breakfast discusting not worth getting up for and nobaths only showers.Definately not a 3*** more like a guesthouse
