  The location is beautiful. Also in mid feb it is nice. The complex was not fully booked. It can happen that you are alone in the complex. For us it didn’t matter but I can imagine that some people like not to be alone in a ‘remote’ area. The rooms were big and nicely decorated.   Loved this hotel. Radda in Chianti is now one of our favorite locations in Italy and this hotel was luxurious. Staff great. Breakfasts great. Very nice englishspeaking receptionist-she gaves us many helpfull advices for the old Lucca town and ideas for good restaurants there.   Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good.
