  I have always found the Carlton to have all ready upon my arrival. My room was available and all was in order. The staff is always very helpful and informative. You cannot beat the location of the hotel to the great shops.

The rooms are clean and of acceptable size although some of rooms under roof have only small window that may not be appreciated by those who is not found of castle style.   The Spa!! I wasn't aware of the size and scope of the spa when I booked the hotel. I was there for the cycling but according to the 5 others in our group (not cyclists), I'm a genus. The spa is absolutely fantastic - and included in the price.
