Great location in a quiet room north of the main touristic part of the city, but still only about a 8-10 minute walk from the Duomo. Staff were very friendly and offered advice on the places to go, the places where you would need a booking. Definitely a place we'd return to. Sara, the manager, spoke Englishfluently and was very helpful in answering questions regarding buses,trains, museums/tickets, just about everything we wanted to know.   We booked two bedroom's suite on top floor with living room and kitchen, and bathroom with separate shower. As long you know it is a historical building, so we wouldn't mind to use the staircase to the fourth floor. There is no window to face the plaza so no noise from the crowd at night. You have to take into account that it is located on a fourth flour and there is no elevator: important when you have medium suitcases, and that the reception is open just part time.The location can´t be better

  The location couldn't be better. They helped book everything for the fast lines since we only had a short time in Florence. The room was a suite which they upgraded us on our arrival without asking. It gave a palace feel with the architecture and furnishings and we were made to feel like royalty when we were there. Wouldn't have changed a thing!
