  We loved that it was so central. When we arrived I was not too happywith the original room given, (there was nothing wrong with it, i'm justfussy). The girl and the owner were so accomodating and showed us everyother room so we could choose ourselves. The breakfasts were gastronomical and the service hospitable. A real effort was made to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few hundred meters from the beach and town square. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend Villa Antica Tropea to others.

  Third time in Marco Polo and can not say anything which we did not like. This is the best place for summer vacation with children (if you are not seeking luxury case) - very beautiful view to the sea and the water in it is very clean

  There are many places to choose from on Capo Vaticano (just south of Tropea). We're glad we stayed at this hotel. We had a fantastic sunset view of the Stromboli volcano from our balcony. Our apartment, while a little small with sloping ceilings on the edges, was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was very nice.
